(left to right: Prissy, Squeak, BF, BFkid, Moe, Bunny)

Haven’t yet acquired the photos of the dresses I made, but a decent shot of the other costumes I labored over.  Prissy and Bunny were royal pages in this photo.  Didn’t make the blouses or vests, but made the pantaloons and hats.  Made Moe’s “ball gown” overnight–simple tube top with elastic’d ruffles attached for sleeves.  Tulle underneath the skirt.  All the skirt is, is a one-seam casing along the top with a length of bias tape threaded through for tying in back.  Roll-hem along the bottom.  Lots of shortcuts, but it was for the stage, and the deadline was looming.

And of course, Squeak’s mouse costume.  The ears flopped over here, well after the play was over.  They held up just fine through the performance, but I suspect lots of hugs might’ve pushed one ear out of place.

Gotta get those photos of the dresses.

Guess I’ll be launching into the fall wardrobe sewing session in a week or two.  I’ve got to get the homeschooling year going first and set some kind of routine.  After that, I should be able to free up a few braincells to concentrate on the projects at hand.
